What is your favorite holiday?

 Colombia is known as one of the countries with the most holidays in the world, as it has 18 holidays that are distributed between historical, seasonal and religious. Although there are many holidays, my favorite is Christmas, which is a religious holiday that celebrates the birth of the baby Jesus in the Catholic religion.

The reason why Christmas is my favorite holiday is because is a unique day in the year when I get together with all my family, we prepare a delicious dinner that includes: roast turkey, buñuelos,  mashed potatoes with a bittersweet sauce, meat rolls stuffed with bacon and for dessert we have: chocolate cheesecake, natilla and strawberries with whipped cream. 

After dinner we like to listen to Christmas carols and typical music such as salsa, vallenato, merengue, dance and then we play monopoly until the clock strikes 12 o'clock on December 25th, which is the moment when we all wish each other Merry Christmas, toast with wine and start exchanging gifts, because we have been waiting for the Christmas party for a long time.
